Buying & Listening

What is Jam45?

Jam45 is an independent-music marketplace and music platform built around artists, labels and listeners, with music discovery, personal listening tools and creative tools in one place.

Can I listen before I buy?

Yes. Releases can include protected previews so you can hear the music before purchasing. Artists may also make eligible tracks available as Full Song when they choose.

What do I receive when I buy music?

You receive access to the downloadable music files supplied with that release. Completed purchases stay with your Jam45 account so you can return to available downloads later.

Where do I find music I purchased?

Sign in and open O meu Jam45 to access your available downloads and music library.

Can I play purchased music in Jukebox?

Yes. Jam45 purchases can be available inside Jukebox along with your other supported music sources.

Do I need an account to browse Jam45?

No. You can browse public music and artist pages without an account. Personal features such as purchases, favorites, playlists and account tools require signing in when appropriate.

Artistas

How do I sell music on Jam45?

Create an Artist account, complete your artist profile, connect Stripe for payouts, and add your releases. Start with the Jam45 registration flow if you do not have an account yet.

How much does it cost to join as an artist?

Joining Jam45 as an artist is free. Jam45 earns through its marketplace commission when eligible sales occur. Current selling terms and promotional pricing are shown on Artist Pricing; Stripe processing fees are separate.

Does Jam45 own my music?

No. Uploading music to Jam45 does not transfer ownership of your recordings to Jam45. You grant the permissions needed to host, sell, display and promote your content as described in the Terms and Conditions.

Can I control my artist page?

Yes. Artists can manage their profile, releases, artwork, information and other available artist tools from the Artist Dashboard.

Can I schedule a release for later?

Yes. Jam45 supports release scheduling rather than requiring everything to go live immediately.

Does Jam45 distribute my music to Spotify, Apple Music or other DSPs?

Not currently. Jam45 is its own marketplace and platform. Distribution to outside DSPs is a separate service from selling directly on Jam45.

Can I upload albums as well as singles?

Yes. Jam45 supports multi-track releases as well as individual tracks.

Labels

Can a record label use Jam45?

Yes. Labels have their own account type and dashboard designed to manage multiple artists and label-owned releases.

Can I manage more than one artist from one label account?

Yes. Labels can build a roster and switch between the artists they manage from the label workspace.

Can I invite an artist who already has a Jam45 account?

Yes. Labels can invite artists to join their roster rather than creating duplicate artist identities.

Who gets paid for a label-owned release?

Label-owned releases can route future marketplace payout ownership to the label account, while artist-owned releases remain artist-owned. Historical orders are not silently reassigned when catalog ownership changes.

Can label staff have different permissions?

Yes. Jam45 supports Owner, Manager and Contributor roles so not everyone needs full owner-level access.

Payments & Fees

How do artists and labels get paid?

Jam45 uses Stripe Connect for marketplace seller payouts. Artists and labels connect their own Stripe account so eligible sales can be routed to the correct seller.

Does Jam45 hold my Stripe password or banking information?

No. Stripe handles the sensitive payment and banking side of the payout connection.

Does Stripe charge processing fees?

Stripe processing fees may apply in addition to Jam45’s marketplace commission. Use Artist Pricing for Jam45’s current selling terms and promotional pricing.

Can buyers optionally support Jam45?

Yes. Certain areas can offer optional support for people who want to help keep Jam45’s tools available.

Jukebox

What is Jam45 Jukebox?

Jukebox is Jam45’s personal music player for bringing supported music sources together in one place.

What music can I use in Jukebox?

Depending on the source, Jukebox can work with Jam45 purchases, supported files from your device, playlists, supported cloud sources and saved video links.

Does Jam45 upload all of my personal music to its servers?

No. Jukebox is designed so personal music sources can remain private rather than automatically becoming part of the public Jam45 catalog. How a file is accessed depends on the source you choose.

Can I edit song information in Jukebox?

Yes. Supported sources can expose editable information such as title, artist, album, genre, mood, energy and artwork.

Can I make playlists?

Yes. Jukebox supports personal playlists and playlist management, including adding, removing, reordering and shuffling tracks.

Jam45 Studio

What is Jam45 Studio?

Jam45 Studio is a collection of browser-based music tools for recording, mixing, mastering, audio work and other creative tasks.

Do I have to install software to use Studio?

Most Jam45 Studio tools are designed to run through the website in a compatible browser.

Is Jam45 Studio only for artists selling music on Jam45?

No. Studio is intended to be useful even if you are simply making music and are not currently selling a release.

Can I master a song in Jam45 Studio?

Yes. Jam45 includes mastering tools with analysis, A/B comparison and export features.

Does Jam45 keep ownership of music I work on in Studio?

No. Using Jam45’s creative tools does not make Jam45 the owner of your music.

Accounts & Privacy

What is the difference between Listener, Artist and Label accounts?

Listener accounts are for discovering, saving and buying music. Artist accounts add artist and release management. Label accounts are designed for managing a roster, staff and label catalog.

Can an artist or label still buy music like a listener?

Yes. An Artist or Label account does not prevent you from using listener-facing Jam45 features.

Why does Jam45 use security checks when I sign in?

Jam45 uses additional protections on account forms to reduce automated abuse and help protect accounts.

Where can I read Jam45’s privacy information?

The current data-use and privacy details are in the Política de Privacidade.

Is Jam45 mobile-friendly?

Yes. The public marketplace, account areas, Jukebox and other Jam45 features are designed to work across desktop and mobile. Some advanced creative tools naturally have more room on a larger screen.

Socorro

What should I do if something is not working?

Use Contacte-nos and include what page you were on, what you clicked, and what device and browser you were using. If the issue involves an order, include the order details, but never send passwords or payment-card numbers.
